These capacitors operate within a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C for voltage ratings from 16V to 250V, and -25°C to +105°C for voltage ratings from 315V to 450V. Under rated voltage and standard ripple current conditions at 105°C, the capacitors maintain performance for 3000 hours. After this endurance test, capacitance change remains within ±20% of the initial value, dissipation factor (tan δ) does not exceed 150% of the initial standard, and leakage current stays within initial specifications.
Electrical Characteristics
The capacitors feature a rated capacitance tolerance of ±20% at 120Hz and 20°C. Leakage current is limited to the smaller value of 3/CV (μA) or 5mA when measured at 20°C after 5 minutes of voltage application. Dissipation factor values vary by voltage rating, ranging from 0.45 at 16V to 0.15 at 160-420V, and 0.20 at 450V. Frequency correction factors are provided for accurate performance calculation across different operating frequencies.
